About Us
After raising Golden Retrievers for 30 years, our journey with the Cirneco dell’Etna began in 2021 after meeting several of these remarkable dogs at dog shows. We were immediately captivated by their elegance, intelligence, affectionate nature, athletic ability, and delightful sense of humor.
What was supposed to be an “empty nest” project quickly became a lifelong passion.
Our first Cirneco, Mateo, joined us from Rockin’Heart Cirnechi in Idaho in 2021. We soon realized one Cirneco would never be enough. In 2023 we welcomed littermate sisters, also from Rockin’ Heart, and in 2024 we proudly imported a beautiful female directly from Sicily from the renowned Vignazzi kennel, strengthening both the diversity and authenticity of our breeding program.
We are excited to announce our first Charisma Kennels litter !
Our Philosophy
As veterinarians and preservation breeders, our program is built around health, temperament, correct structure, and versatility. Above all, our dogs are family, and every decision we make begins with what is best for them and for the future of this extraordinary breed.
Living with Cirnechi
Our dogs are first and foremost beloved family members. They live in our home, share our daily lives, and participate in everything we do.
Together we’ve earned titles in:
* Conformation
* Lure Coursing
* Fast CAT
* Coursing Ability Tests (CAT)
* Barn Hunt
* Canine Good Citizen (CGC)
* Novice Trick Dog
We are also looking forward to competing in Rally and Scent Work.
When they’re not competing, our Cirnechi happily patrol the backyard in search of squirrels and rabbits, then transform into expert couch companions who firmly believe blankets were invented specifically for them.
